Notes or Comments:
Largs Parish Church, which was dedicated to St Columba and belonged to Paisley Abbey, appears on record in 1263 it has been demolished. The Sexton's Book from 1823-1870 is in the National Archived of Scotland in Edinburgh. Transcript in the Vennel Family & Local Family History Centre in Irvine. Surveyed (with drawings) in 1983.
